This is a perfect inexpensive upgrade for the 6th gen '16+ LT and LS models that have standard brakes. This system uses an aluminum 4 piston Brembo caliper for increased braking performance. It includes all of the components needed to install the "SS" model Brembo brakes. The standard base model Camaro brakes are far from a performance braking system. The cast single piston caliper does a poor job of distributing heat, and has a small braking surface area for a 3400+ lb car. The stock brakes use a 12.6" rotor, while the Brembo system uses a larger 13.6" rotor. Larger pad surface area=increased braking performance and reduced brake fade. You will also be decreasing un-sprung weight on the front corners; although the rotor is larger, the aluminum Brembo calipers weigh less than the stock cast single piston calipers. This product does require removal or modification of the stock backing plate.  Stock single piston 60 - 0 braking distance = 129 feet4 piston Brembo 60 - 0 braking distance = 117 feet  *Brake line note* Some LT and LS Camaros will require different brake lines for the installation of this kit due to the connection boss at the end of the line and line length.
