Due to inconsistent shipping climates, it is important to give your cigars a few days to rehydrate before enjoying one. If you don't have a humidor we suggest putting the cigars in a plastic food storage bag or container. For every 25 cigars stored, put a damp sponge or paper towel in the bag or container. Store the bag on a shelf or in a closet. If you don't have a humidor, we suggest purchasing one of our Boveda humidor bags or one of our 2-way humidity control packs designed to keep your cigars at the ideal humidity. For those new to the collection, the Pappy Van Winkle Barrel-Fermented cigars are made with a combination of the finest Kentucky, Mexican, and Indonesian tobacco and are hand-rolled in small batches at La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Estelí, Nicaragua and are unlike anything else on the market thanks to our unique barrel fermentation process. Throughout the 12-18 month fermentation process, bundles of Kentucky fire-cured tobacco are soaked in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, imparting a unique flavor profile and aroma. Made with single-origin Guatemalan whole beans aged in Pappy Van Winkle bourbon barrels, this one-of-a-kind blend with a mellow but completely unique flavor profile will appeal to coffee nerds and bourbon aficionados alike.
