The absence of bananas is perfect for geckos that do not seem to like banana flavor foods. We have incorporated crickets and black soldier fly larvae as the main source of protein as well as grown mealworms to increase the omega fatty acid content. This formula contains more than double the amount of insects as our original Pangea Gecko Diet with Insects™ formula. Pangea Gecko Diet with Fig & Insects™ blends a bit thinner than other formulas due to the absence of the thick consistency from banana powder, but geckos seem to like this thinner mix. It can be more difficult to see lick marks in the food bowls, so we recommend offering smaller amounts of food to begin with to see the food disappear. Directions Mix 1 part powder with 2 parts water and adjust to achieve desired consistency. Prepared mix is good for up to 7 days if refrigerated.
