Description

This assortment includes four outstanding, diverse butters of the world. Useful for cooking, melting, or as a spread, butter is one of our favorite all-around food products. Salted Chimay Butter (Belgium): This incredible, creamy butter is made from milk drawn from herds of cattle that graze in the pastures of Belgium, close to the French border. These lucky cows spend their days wandering along the rivers and through the forests, always in search of the tastiest greens and blooms. Their milk produces a fresh, clean-tasting butter with a light-yellow color and an ultra-creamy texture. Truly one of kind. For a Belgian-themed breakfast, try it on hot waffles. Available in Salted and Unsalted. (8.9 oz) Beurre de Baratte Demi Sel by Rodolphe Le Meunier(France): Crafted in the Loire Valley from carefully sourced local milk, this butter starts with rich, fresh cream that's pasteurized and cultured to develop a deep, complex flavor, then churned using traditional wooden barattes to achieve its luscious texture. Lightly salted with fine sea salt, it captures the essence of its terroir-milk from lush pastures kissed by the region's mild climate and fertile soil. (8.8 oz) Ploughgate Creamery Salted Cultured Butter (Vermont, USA): A rich, tangy masterpiece made from the finest Vermont cream, carefully cultured to develop deep, complex flavors. Churned in small batches and finished with a touch of sea salt, it's luxuriously creamy with a delightful balance of savory and tangy notes. Perfect for spreading on warm bread, melting over roasted veggies, or adding a gourmet touch to your favorite dishes. (8 oz) Fleur de Sel Le Gall French Butter (Fance): Guérande Salted Churned Butter is crafted with slow-matured cream and finished with hand-harvested Fleur de Sel from France's salt marshes. Rich and velvety with a delicate crunch, it's a perfect balance of tradition and flavor. Spread it, melt it, or cook with it-this butter makes every bite unforgettable. (8.8 oz) Please note that any item temporarily out of stock will be substituted with a similar item of equal or greater value.

Caraway Cream Havarti Cheese

Caraway Cream Havarti Cheese

About 100 years ago, a farmer's wife who lived in North Zealand became interested in the art of cheesemaking. She traveled through Europe to learn the secrets of this craft, and upon her return, she began to experiment with her newly acquired techniques. She named her finest creation after her farm, "Havarthi". Today's Cream Havarti is a direct descendant of the original creation. It has an ivory interior patterned with a myriad of tiny holes and is mild, creamy, and mellow. Ours is made on Denmark's Bornholm Island, also known as The Sunny Island, by the Bornholm Dairy under the St. Clements brand. Made from pasteurized cow's milk. Photo depicts whole 9 lb. form of cheese. We cut and wrap this item by hand.

Julianna Herbed Goat Cheese

Julianna Herbed Goat Cheese

Julianna is the perfect blend of soft and creamy goat cheese, with the twist of a gorgeous coating of fresh herbs and flowers. The herbs and pretty flower give it a lovely rustic look but also add an aromatic layer that elevates the bright, tangy flavor of the goat cheese beneath. With each creamy mouthful you get a hint of thyme and rosemary, which balances the fresh, citrusy notes of the cheese. Julianna works beautifully on a cheeseboard, but it's also amazing crumbled over salads. Pair it with a crisp Rosé or Chardonnay for a refreshing combo, and serve it with roasted nuts and dried fruits to highlight the cheese’s herbal flavors.

Sage and Herbs Cheddar Cheese

Sage and Herbs Cheddar Cheese

Plymouth Artisan Cheese brings a new cheddar with a fresh, herbal twist to the table. Infused with sage, thyme, rosemary, lavender, and oregano, Sage and Herbs Cheddar is just the thing for when you want to add a little something extra to your cheese board without going the spicy or stinky route. It's aromatic and savory, smooth but fresh, filled with a garden of fresh flavors. It’s aged for 60 days, so the flavors have enough time to meld with the cheddar, offering a taste that’s herbal yet not overwhelmingly so. Try it alongside fruit—like pears or grapes—or on a sandwich with roasted veggies, which brings the herbs down to earth. It’s the kind of cheese that brings a little charm to any meal, with enough personality to hold its own. Plymouth Artisan Cheeses makes wonderful cheeses rooted in Vermont’s rich dairy tradition, using raw milk from a single herd of Holstein and Jersey cows. We love their commitment to preserving old-world techniques, using recipes that date back to 1890. Every block of cheese is made in small batches, aged naturally, and dipped in wax just like they did over a century ago.
