SI Joint Belt | Sacroiliac Dysfunction Treatment & Tailbone or Coccyx Pain Relief Compression Brace

SI Joint Belt | Sacroiliac Dysfunction Treatment & Tailbone or Coccyx Pain Relief Compression Brace

The 5 Best SI Joint Belt Features Dual-Pulley System with 5x Force The effective pulley system of this back brace applies targeted support and compression to your L5 through S1 vertebrae. A mechanical pulley system makes it easy to activate the compression feature of this brace. It multiplies your force by five, so you can easily generate the needed compression for SI joint pain treatment with very little effort. One Size Fits All The stabilization belt is one size fits all, which eliminates the hassle of trying to select the correct size. This universal brace fits hip circumferences ranging from 32 inches to 50 inches. Removable Pads for a More Flexible, Streamlined Fit Two pads come with the belt for an extra layer of support and compression—if you want it. You can position them anywhere you want by sliding them along the belt, and if the pads feel uncomfortable, simply readjust or remove them. Ideal for Pregnancy Lower Back Pain Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is also a common cause of low-back pain during pregnancy, as changes in weight, posture, and hormones can make the joints too mobile for their own good. (This is just one of many sources of pain during pregnancy.) You can wear this garment while or after you’re pregnant to help stabilize the overly mobile SI joints and pelvic area, so long as you don’t measure more than 50 inches around the widest part of your hips. And if you do, don’t worry, we also offer pregnancy abdominal supports for SI joint pain Wear this Belt for Extra Support after Surgery If you do find yourself going the surgical route for repairing problems with your sacral spine, you might also find this to be a great post-surgery brace for an extra layer of support and stability as you go through rehabilitation and get back to day-to-day life. And after surgery, you will especially appreciate its strong pulley system and simple fasteners. Sacroiliac Brace for SI Joint, Coccyx, or Tailbone Pain It is not new news that as we age, our spines follow the same trend and begin to lose the cushion to the cartilage of our spines that once kept us feeling young and unbreakable. Our spines become weaker with years of life and the many activities it supports us through. Added obesity and extra weight to that equation can speed up this degeneration. This versatile hip support belt offers superior stabilization from your L5 vertebra to your coccyx bone, reducing lower back motion and helping with pelvic alignment. Plus, it compresses your abdomen, creating pressure that reduces the amount of force on your lumbosacral spine, also known as the small of your back. The abdominal compression helps transfer some of the load away from your sacrum and lumbar spine, easing pain, protecting against additional damage, and allowing for healing to take place. These qualities and more make this orthopedic device great for treating many conditions that cause lower hip and back pain, including: Sacroiliac joint dysfunction Degenerative changes like arthritis of the lumbar spine or spinal compression fractures A bruised, sore or inflamed tailbone (coccydynia) Sciatica nerve pain relief Symphysis pubis dysfunction (pelvic instability often associated with pregnancy) Other injuries or alignment issues with the lumbar spine, sacrum, or pelvis Relief for SI Joint Dysfunction or Bruised Tailbone Trauma to your tailbone, also medically known as your coccyx, can bruise and inflame the area around the bone, causing an aching pain that worsens when you put weight on it. Officially, this tailbone injury is known as our coccydynia. Whatever the case may be, non-surgical treatment of an achy tailbone is effective for 90% of people, and many of these remedies can be done from the comfort of your home. Some common first steps for tailbone pain relief include: Applying a cold pack Using heat to ease muscle tension (after a few days have passed) Modifying your activity to reduce pressure on your tailbone (use a stand-up desk and try a pillow for your back or a donut tailbone pillow for your bottom) Wearing a supportive sacroiliac joint belt also reduces pressure on your tailbone Get more movement into your days by walking, stretching, or yoga Physical therapy might help as it can manipulate the muscles attached to your tailbone if these initial steps fail to relieve your symptoms.Surgery to remove your tailbone is a last resort option that is rarely used. How to Sit with SI Joint Pain Operating with any form of back pain can make daily tasks like sitting extremely uncomfortable, and nearly impossible. If you are someone that has a desk job or spends many hours seated, you understand how much of an issue this is in your daily routine. For most, there is just no way you can stay standing all day, so it’s important you understand how to sit with SI joint pain, bruised tailbone, or coccyx pain. Here are a few tips to help you stay ahead of the pain while sitting: When sitting, keep your knees apart and turned outward slightly (don’t cross your legs) Relax your lower back against extra support such as a pillow or rolled towel Straighten up your spine and keep your chest pointed up Allow your shoulders and shoulder blades to relax and fall Frequently Asked Questions About This SI Joint Belt What conditions / injuries does this SI joint stabilizer treat? It can help with many injuries to the lower back, including (but not limited to) a bruised, inflamed or broken tailbone, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, sciatica, symphysis pubis dysfunction (SPD), spinal compression fractures, arthritis of the lumbar spine and other conditions that might make the low back or pelvis unstable or painful. How does it work? The belt supports the lower back, and its advanced pulley system allows you to compress the abdomen, which creates intracavitary pressure that transfers stress away from the spine. This also stabilizes the lower-back, which is great for conditions like SPD and SI joint pain where too much movement creates alignment issues and pain. The belt also comes with two moveable and removable pads that apply targeted compression to particularly sore areas, which can boost blood flow and speed healing. When should I wear it? You should always follow a doctor’s instructions regarding usage. But generally speaking, you can safely wear this belt whenever you need extra support and/or pain relief. What is it made of? The belt is made of a breathable, polyester mesh material that is lightweight but durable. Its edges are finished and a layer of fastener goes around it so you can attach the pull-tabs wherever feels best for you. The pulley tabs system is composed of nylon and a fastener back with high-quality thick polyester strings (parachute cord). The foam pressure pads are covered in the airy polyester mesh material. Who can wear this brace? Men and women of all ages can benefit from this belt, so long as the circumference of their hips falls within a range of 32 inches to 50 inches. A pregnant woman can even wear this support so long as her belly does not take her past the size limit. We also offer maternity support belts What size should I buy? That’s an easy one with this universal brace, one size fits most! Just make sure that the area around your hips falls within the 32 to 50-inch sizing range. To check, wrap a soft, flexible tape measure around the hips at the widest part of your hips. If your hips are wider than 50 inches, you should check out a plus size belt How tall is this brace? The belt portion of the brace is 3 inches tall, and the back panels are 9 inches tall. Washing instructions: Remove rigid components from the brace. Wipe rigid components with a damp cloth to clean. The soft belt can be hand washed in warm water with mild detergent. Allow the brace to air dry completely before reapplying. Other features: The belt is flexible, lightweight and breathable, which is great for active use. The double pulley system with crossed tension cords in the back amplifies your force, making it easy to apply compression. Completely adjustable, fitting most men and women. Plantar Fasciitis Night Sock Splint | Soft Stretching Brace and Foot Pain Sleep Support Boot

Plantar Fasciitis Night Sock Splint | Soft Stretching Brace and Foot Pain Sleep Support Boot

Find Relief for Plantar Fasciitis Pain: Using a Soft Night Splint Compression Sleeve to Treat Your Symptoms Finding the right treatment can be difficult if you're struggling with  plantar fasciitis. Many night braces or orthotics for plantar fasciitis are designed like a hard plastic cast, making sleep uncomfortable and late-night bathroom trips difficult. Unlike these rigid options, our plantar fasciitis compression sleeve stands out from other treatment options with its sleek and comfortable design. Keep reading to learn how a soft night boot can help relieve your plantar fasciitis pain. How the Plantar Fasciitis Night Sock Can Help Your Feet Heal The soft night splint compression sleeve provides a gentle stretch to your plantar fascia tissue, which is the tissue that connects your heel bone to your toes. This gradual stretch helps to prevent inflammation and irritation of the fascia tissue overnight. This makes the night stocking an effective home remedy for treating the painful condition and relieving the sharp pain you feel with your first steps in the morning. Unlike other rigid options, our soft night splint compression sleeve allows for a full night of sleep without discomfort, making it a popular choice for those who struggle with bulkier boot-style options. The night splint sock is an effective and affordable option for treating plantar fasciitis without the need for expensive medical treatments. Do Night Socks Really Work for Plantar Fasciitis? If you’ve tried other methods to get rid of PF pain, you’re likely skeptical that there is anything out there that will relieve your stubborn foot pain. However, this night sock compression sleeve could be the answer you're looking for. Our comfortable and effective plantar fasciitis night sock is designed to provide gentle compression and support to your foot while you sleep, helping to alleviate pain and discomfort. The gentle stretch provided by the sock can prevent the plantar fascia from tightening up overnight, a common cause of morning foot pain associated with plantar fasciitis. Additionally, effective compression can help improve circulation and reduce inflammation, especially within the first few steps in the morning. The sock is made to gradually stretch your plantar fascia tissue over time, providing relief without immobilizing your foot. However, it's important to remember that wearing a night sock is not a full cure for plantar fasciitis. While the sock can help manage symptoms and provide relief, it's essential to address the condition's underlying causes through other treatments such as stretching, strengthening exercises, and orthotic inserts. Understanding Plantar Fasciitis: Common Causes and Symptoms If you’re experiencing sharp pain within your first steps in the morning, it’s likely you have a condition called Plantar Fasciitis. In order to treat this condition and get back to life, it’s important to understand why the pain is happening. Plantar fasciitis is a common condition that affects the foot and causes a stabbing sensation in the heel, particularly during the first steps of the day. This condition is caused by inflammation of the plantar fascia, which is a thick tendon that connects the heel to the toes, creating the arch in your foot. Causes of Plantar Fasciitis There are several causes of plantar fasciitis, including: Carrying extra weight Age (40 - 60 years old) Non-supportive shoes Long periods of standing on hard surfaces Athletic activities that put stress on your foot Symptoms of Plantar Fasciitis The symptoms of plantar fasciitis include: Heel pain or tenderness Foot pain after physical activity, especially walking Foot pain after prolonged sitting or standing Increased pain in the morning with your first steps Pain in the arch of your foot Foot tingling or burning Pain at the front or center of your heel bone Take a Step Towards Pain-Free Feet: Your Burning Questions About Plantar Fasciitis Relief Answered! Curious about the length of time it may take for PF pain to go away or different options for treatment? Keep reading to find the answers to your plantar fasciitis pain questions. Can plantar fasciitis be completely cured, or is it a recurring condition? Plantar fasciitis can be completely cured, though the healing process will gradually take time. However, in some cases, plantar fasciitis may become a recurring condition, especially if the underlying causes and contributing factors, such as improper footwear, excessive stress on the feet, or tight calf muscles, are not addressed. To minimize the risk of recurrence, it's essential to continue with the recommended treatment plan even after your symptoms have improved. This may include maintaining healthy body weight, wearing supportive footwear, using shoe inserts or orthotics, and regularly performing stretching and strengthening exercises for the calf muscles and plantar fascia. If you find that your plantar fasciitis is recurring or not responding to conservative treatment methods, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and additional treatment options. Are there any long-term complications associated with plantar fasciitis if left untreated? Yes, if plantar fasciitis is left untreated, there can be some long-term complications associated with the painful condition. Some potential complications that may occur include: Chronic heel pain Other foot problems, such as stress fractures or heel spurs Reduced or limited mobility Back or knee pain How long does it typically take plantar fasciitis to heal? The time it takes to heal from plantar fasciitis depends on the severity of the condition, its causes, and its symptoms. Most adult men and women generally experience improvement within a few weeks to a few months of consistent treatment and lifestyle modifications. However, in some cases, it may take six months to a year or longer for the condition to fully resolve. It's important to follow the recommended treatment plan, including stretching, icing, rest, pain relievers, shoe inserts, and supportive footwear, to help speed up the healing process. Are there any specific exercises I should avoid to prevent worsening my plantar fasciitis? Yes, there are some specific exercises that you should avoid to prevent potentially worsening your plantar fasciitis. Any exercises that involve high-impact or repetitive stress on the heel and plantar fascia should be avoided. Some examples include: Running, especially on hard surfaces Jumping activities, such as jump rope or basketball Deep calf stretches Toe or heel raises Instead, focus on low-impact exercises that won't put excessive stress on your heel and plantar fascia. These can include swimming, cycling, or using an elliptical trainer. At what point should I consider more invasive treatments, such as corticosteroid injections or surgery for my plantar fasciitis? If you have practiced lifestyle modifications to improve your plantar fasciitis for at least 6 to 12 months consistently, surgery or other invasive treatments may be needed. Speak to your doctor or medical professional to determine the best treatment option for you. Tips and Tricks for Successful PF Pain Treatment Are you looking for tips on how to manage your plantar fasciitis pain? Here are some helpful suggestions to help you get back to your daily routine: Incorporate Daily Stretches Incorporate daily stretching exercises for your calf muscles and plantar fascia. Stretching your feet and calves regularly can help keep your plantar fascia and other muscles flexible and prevent tightness, which can contribute to PF pain. Try incorporating gentle stretches into your daily routine, such as seated foot flexes, calf raises, and rolling a tennis ball under your foot. Obviously, stretching the foot at night will help with plantar fasciitis relief, but this method can also help with other injuries such as Achilles tendonitis, plantar flexion contractures, heel spurs, and other lower leg overuse injuries. Wear Shoes with Arch Support for PF Pain Relief Wearing shoes with good arch support and cushioning can help reduce the impact on your feet, prevent further injury, and ease plantar fascia pain. Look for shoes that have a firm heel counter and good shock absorption. You could also consider adding orthotic inserts or arch supports for extra help to distribute pressure more evenly across your feet. Chill Out with Ice for Soothing Foot Relief Applying ice to your feet can help reduce inflammation and alleviate pain. Try rolling a frozen water bottle under your foot for a quick and easy ice massage, or use an ice pack wrapped in a towel. For easy ice-rolling plantar fasciitis cryotherapy, try using a Cryosphere Massage Roller Ball. Use a Night Splint to Sleep Easy and Wake Happy Night splints are designed to keep your foot in a stretched position while you sleep, which can help prevent the plantar fascia from tightening up overnight and causing morning foot pain. While getting used to sleeping with the foot in dorsiflexion will likely take some time, a night splint sock for plantar fasciitis therapy is often easier to get used to than sleeping with a rigid plantar fasciitis boot. If you are looking for something to wear throughout the day, check out this plantar fasciitis day splint brace. Relax, Recharge, and Recover Giving your feet time to rest and recover is an important part of successful PF pain treatment. Minimize activities that put stress on your heel and plantar fascia, such as running or jumping. Give your feet some time to heal and recover. Try elevating your feet and using a foot massager to help promote healing and reduce inflammation. Keep in mind that it's essential to be consistent with these methods to see improvement. By incorporating these tips into your daily routine, you can help manage your plantar fasciitis pain and get back to life. Remember, everyone's body is different, so it's important to listen to your body and find a personalized treatment plan that works for you. Plantar & Achilles Heel Spur Shoe Inserts - Silicone Pain Relief Gel Cup Cushions (Pair)

Plantar & Achilles Heel Spur Shoe Inserts - Silicone Pain Relief Gel Cup Cushions (Pair)

What is a Heel Spur? A bone spur is a calcium deposit causing a body protrusion on the underside of the heel bone.  They can also occur at any joint in the body, and most can be treated through therapy, therapeutic braces, and in the most severe cases surgery. For the most part they don’t amount to enough to cause pain and will dissipate before it ever gets to that point, but there are exceptions. You are putting yourself at risk for a heel spur if you: Run or jog, especially on hard surfaces Have poorly fitting shoes or if you lack an arch support in your shoes Excess weight and increased pressure load Bad form when walking excessively Increasing in age will put you further at risk Spend most of the day on your feet, or have frequent short bursts of physical activity 1 in 10 people suffer from a heel spur and need to treat the heel spur for their foot to return to optimal condition. The primary way a heel spur goes away is by dissolving the calcium deposit in the foot, which there are a number of ways to do. Symptoms of a heel spur can include: chronic pain while walking, jogging, or running, could feel like plantar fasciitis ( know the difference because a heel spur lasts all day whereas plantar fasciitis is sporadic and will fade as the day goes on). How a Heel Spur Cushion Can Help You The best news you’ll hear today is that heel spurs are treatable and you can find relief, and most do not need surgery. We understand how having a constant pain in your foot can be and how draining it can be on your mood and overall energy levels. Luckily though, there are treatments and solutions for heel spurs to get you (quite literally) back on your feet! A heel cushion insert is designed to soften the blow from walking and absorb the shock the heel normally takes. The cup the heel is normally the first bone to contact the ground, and can result in a shocking amount of pain with a heel spur. How to Treat Heel Spurs There are other home remedies that can help heal bone spurs, however when you’re wearing a brace you know that it’s working. Drinking some sort of elixir or getting a massage (which can be painful) you’ll never know if it’s working. With heel inserts or pads you know that every time you take a step you are taking less pain. If heel cushion inserts aren’t a good fit for you, we have a number of other options to choose from such as the Off-Loading Healing Shoe. About the Heel Spur Cushion While the entire cushion is made of a formidable silicon or gel, the special blue dot is made of a softer silicon for more shock absorption The cup design forces the fatty pad of the heel downward for extra protection ideal for athletes or anyone with an active day or lifestyle Easily removable for putting in different shoes Minimalistic to focus on the heel spur and save money than buying an entire shoe insert Measured in shoe size for both men and women

Different conditions and injuries require different braces, boots, and supports. This walker boot is made specifically for kids recovering from a break, sprain, or fracture within their ankle, foot, or toe. What is a CAM Boot? CAM stands for Controlled Ankle Motion. So, a CAM boot is a brace that helps control your ankle motions as you’re up and active. Immobilizing your ankle and foot following a severe injury is essential to proper healing without further injuries. Our pediatric walking boot helps immobilize the ankle and is perfect for severe ankle sprains, post-surgery, stable ankle fractures, and post-cast stability. Children’s Walking Boot for Toe, Foot, and Ankle Injuries Designed specifically for kids, this pediatric walking boot is essential for a safe and painless recovery from an ankle, foot, or toe injury. Children are prone to accidents and injuries as they learn and grow. Fractures, breaks, and sprains don’t only happen to adults but also to youth. This boot is made specifically for children, allowing them to walk and move around following an injury or surgery without worrying about further pain occurring as they recover. At-Home Metatarsal Fracture Recovery for Kids If your child has experienced a metatarsal fracture, it’s important to take careful recovery steps at home to help ensure your boy or girl has no further pain or injury. A metatarsal fracture is a break or a thin, hairline crack in one of the metatarsal bones of the foot. This type of fracture usually happens to kids when the child jumps or changes direction quickly, twisting his or her foot or ankle the wrong way. With children, it’s hard to keep them and their weak feet fully protected. Keep reading to learn the best tricks to ensure you prevent your child from further foot and toe injury following a fracture. Children’s Foot Fracture Recovery Tips and Tricks Keep Weight off of the Injured Foot To have a successful recovery, follow your doctor's instructions about how much weight your child can put on the foot and when your child can return to his or her usual activities. This boot features a rocker sole to help keep unwanted weight off the injured foot as your child walks around throughout the day. Ice as Needed to Reduce Swelling If your child’s foot, toe, or ankle is swollen following the injury, try ice or a cold pack on the affected area for 10 to 20 minutes. This should be done every 1 to 2 hours for the next few days following injury or until the swelling goes down. Try to prop the foot up on a pillow, keeping it above your child’s heart level to help reduce swelling. Use a Protective Splint Use a walking boot such as this to help ensure your child’s foot is completely protected, especially as they begin to walk and move independently. This will help ensure the weakened area in the foot, toe, or ankle is protected, supported, and free of pain during recovery. After the foot has recovered, try a lightweight pediatric ankle brace or foot support to help your child safely transition back into school, walking, sports, or other activities. A metatarsal fracture in the foot may take from 6 weeks to several months to heal. It’s extremely important to give your child's foot time to heal completely to avoid pain or re-injury. Take it slow, and don’t let your kid return to usual activities until your doctor says he or she can. Pediatric Plaster Cast vs. Youth Walker Boot: What’s Better For My Kid? If your child has broken, fractured, or severely sprained their foot, toe, or ankle, you may be wondering what the best form of treatment during the recovery process will be. Let’s break down the key differences and when you want to use a cast or a walking boot for your child's injury. After treatment, orthopedic casts are hard plaster or fiberglass shells surrounding a broken bone. The cast's extremely rigid and durable materials are used for immobilization and stabilization of the break or fracture so the area has a chance to heal fully. If the break is severe, surgery may be required, and the weakened bone could break further if stabilization isn’t applied, so a cast will likely be used for the first few weeks. Following removing a cast, you’ll be recommended to wear a walking boot for extra protection and security. Walking boots are specifically designed in a lightweight yet durable matter. The orthopedical boot is similar to a shoe, but it is used to help stabilize the foot and ankle following a fracture. With less severe fractures or following a cast, a walking boot will help keep weight off the weakened area and prevent further pain or injury. Frequently Asked Questions About This Pediatric Fracture Boot What conditions / injuries does this support treat? Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint Boot | Dorsiflexion Foot Brace for Calf Stretching, Heel & Arch Pain

Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint Boot | Dorsiflexion Foot Brace for Calf Stretching, Heel & Arch Pain

Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint: Top 5 Features & Benefits Effective, At-Home Treatment for Foot & Heel Pain When it comes to treating foot and heel pain, this plantar fasciitis boot works wonders! This form of treatment is cost-effective and is as simple as wearing a splint while you sleep. The overnight stretching of your calf and the arch of your foot will effectively prevent morning pain and stiffness. A night splint isn’t your only option for plantar pain treatment, take a look at our full line of plantar fasciitis orthotics and supports to find what will work best for you. Made of Medical-Grade Materials We know that wearing a night splint is not fun. It’s hard to get used to an uncomfortable splint on your foot. Keeping this in mind, our night splint was designed to provide comfort through the padded lining, while still maintaining a protective exterior shell for the best, most effective treatment. Adjustable for a Personalized Fit Different levels of plantar pain require different levels of stretch to find efficient pain relief. Fortunately, this boot features three different adjustable pressure straps. The wide, wrap-around straps allow you to adjust the tightness of the brace to your specifications based on what your needs are. Comfortable Immobilization Through the Night When this splint becomes a part of your nighttime routine, your foot will be held in proper dorsiflexion, ensuring you receive the right amount of stretch while you sleep. On top of that, the three padded, adjustable straps ensure immobilization to prevent any further pain or injuries. Keep in mind that with the addition of any night brace, it will take some getting used to and will not be comfortable right away compared to your usual night’s sleep without a brace. This sleep boot may take a week or two to adjust to, trust the process! Gentle, Effective Fascia Stretch While You Sleep Wearing this stretcher boot throughout the night is an effortless, yet effective way to relieve the pain in your heels you are likely feeling as soon as you hop out of bed in the morning. There are multiple options for additional stretch available when it comes to our sleep splint. Between the adjustable dorsiflexion straps and the removable foot-flex wedge, you will receive stretching within your Achilles tendon, calf, plantar fascia, and foot arch. Can a Foot Brace Help My Pain? Ironically, the use of a nighttime foot splint is going to be most useful for relieving the pain that you are experiencing in the morning. If you are suffering from pain due to plantar fasciitis or heel spurs, you likely have felt pain during your very first steps out of bed and throughout the day upon standing after long periods of inactivity. A boot such as this one works to hold your foot in mild dorsiflexion, which stretches your plantar fascia (the ligament that connects your heel to the front of your foot) while you sleep. This sleeping splint is designed to treat and manage pain caused by: Plantar fasciitis Heel spurs or bone spurs Achilles tendonitis Foot drop Not what you’re looking for? We offer a wide range of foot and toe braces for a variety of conditions and injuries. Plantar Fasciitis vs. Heel Spurs: What’s the Difference? Experiencing heel pain as soon as you hop out of the bed in the morning? It’s likely either plantar fasciitis or a heel spur. These two conditions are commonly confused or assumed to be the same condition, but that is not the case. Plantar fasciitis occurs when your plantar fascia ligament gets overworked or damaged, causing painful inflammation along the sole of your foot. A heel spur is a calcium deposit on your heel bone, usually developing over a long period of time. So, how do you go about treating one of these conditions over the other? Luckily, in most cases, the recommended treatment for a heel spur and plantar fasciitis are consistent: Rest: Spend time off of your feet and away from high-impact activities, allowing your foot to begin to heal. Ice: Icing your heel throughout the day can be a big help when it comes to reducing inflammation. Calf Stretches and Exercises: Heel pain and tight calf muscles are directly related. Working on stretching and strengthening your calves will ultimately help your pain. Night Splints: Bedtime splints such as this one make sure your plantar fascia is consistently stretched while you sleep, especially useful for relieving the pain you may feel right away in the morning. Frequently Asked Questions About This Calf Stretcher Boot What conditions / injuries does this support treat? Use this stretcher support for pain relief from a variety of foot and heel pain conditions such as plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendonitis, foot drop, heel spurs, and Haglund’s deformity. Who can wear it? Available in a range of sizes, a variety of men and women can wear this nighttime support. How do I know what size to get? To choose what size will work best for you, refer to our sizing chart.  Max recommended body weight: 350 pounds. However, please note that our testing has indicated it may be able to withstand more weight. What is it made of? Entirely latex-free, the shell of this boot is made of rigid polyethylene plastic, while the lining is made of a soft and breathable padded foam, along with plastic quick-release buckles and medical-grade fastener closures. When should I wear it? Designed for overnight use, we recommend you wear this support while sleeping, or relaxing off of your feet. Do not wear this brace if you plan on walking any further than a few steps around the house. How do I put it on? To apply this night splint, first unhook buckles on three straps across the front. With the splint resting on the floor, place your foot into the splint, sliding your heel snugly against the back. Place the optional wedge underneath the liner for extra stretch. Attach the bottom strap and adjust until snug. Continue by attaching the remaining two straps, adjusting for tightness. Over time, gradually adjust the side, dorsiflexion straps for greater stretch. How does it work? The splint holds your foot at a 90-degree angle (or less if desired) stretch throughout the night, gently stretching your plantar fascia, achilles tendon, and the calf muscle to help prevent painful first steps in the morning. How tall is it? About 15 inches tall. Washing instructions: Remove liner from boot. Hand wash liner in warm water with mild detergent. Allow liner to air dry completely before reapplying. Wipe plastic shell with a damp cloth. Other features: Padded ankle and calf straps provide dry, cool comfort. Designed for interchangeable use on your right or left foot. Lightweight, yet sturdy support throughout the night. Color:  Black.
